It’s common for reality shows to put strains on relationships due to the intense environment and public scrutiny and Bigg Boss 17 couple, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain were no different. Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, a couple known for their relationship in the public eye, faced challenging situations during their participation in Bigg Boss 17. During the show, Ankita had hinted at taking a break from their relationship and considering divorce. However, during an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, the actress clarified that Vicky and she can never risk their relationship for a TV show.
Clarifying the divorce rumours, Ankita said, “It is not going to happen ever that Vicky and I will risk our relationship for Bigg Boss. Vicky and my relationship has always been like Tom & Jerry. We have been friends and then we got married so the friendship has always been there and because of that comfort we would often say many things to each other which did not realise that it won’t look good on television. The words had a huge impact which we now understand and feel we shouldn’t have said it. We have made many mistakes in our journey in Bigg Boss and there were many things, which we shouldn’t have done. Vicky and my relationship is very strong Aur shayad Isliye itne cheezein hone ke Bawajood we are together and we will always be together.”
In fact, ever since they have exited the show, the couple is now focusing on strengthening their relationship and recently went for a quick getaway to Udaipur.
During the interview, Ankita also admitted that she made a few mistakes in the show and she should have controlled her emotions on Bigg Boss 17. The Pavitra Rishta actress feels guilty that because of her overtly emotional behaviour her family had to deal with a few things.
“I don’t know if my relations were used in the show or not. The way we were living our life on the show, it was real and I was getting over-emotional which I feel I should have controlled. Because of my behaviour everyone in my family got affected. I feel really guilty and it has never been my intention to hurt anyone. But in that house I got so emotional that it became difficult for me to understand where I was going wrong. I feel it was important for me to let go of a few things,” she concluded.
