This development comes as Uttar Pradesh minister Arun Saxena emphasized that no celebrity is above the law, and the legal process will proceed accordingly.
In connection with the case, the police have also applied for the remand of the five individuals who were arrested and subsequently placed in judicial custody.
Elvish Yadav, a winner of the reality show Bigg Boss OTT, is one of the individuals named in a First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Noida Police regarding the suspected use of snake venom at rave parties.

Minister Arun Saxena, who holds the position of minister of state (independent charge) for forest and environment in Uttar Pradesh, emphasized that the legal process will be followed, regardless of the celebrity status of any individual.
On November 3, five people were arrested, and the police began investigating Elvish Yadav’s alleged involvement in the case, which falls under the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. During the investigation, nine snakes, including five cobras, were rescued from the party venue, and 20 ml of suspected snake venom was seized.
A senior Noida police officer confirmed that Elvish Yadav has been sent a notice under Section 41 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) to participate in the ongoing investigation.

The police have also requested custody of the five accused who were arrested in connection with the case last week.
The case was initiated based on a complaint from a member of the animal rights group People For Animals (PFA). PFA’s chairperson and BJP leader, Maneka Gandhi, accused Elvish Yadav of illegally selling snake venom and called for his immediate arrest.

On November 4, Yadav was briefly questioned by the police in Rajasthan’s Kota while traveling with friends in a car, but he was subsequently released. He has denied all allegations against him and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police investigation.
