Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat unfurled the national flag at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur on Friday. Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat underscored the importance of unity and adherence to the Constitution for the country to achieve greater heights. He said, “The strength of the people of India is infinite. When this strength rises, it does many miracles. Today, we are moving forward in every sector. We can achieve only when we are bound by a sense of brotherhood…In our country, there is a tradition of accepting diversity. The country will rise to greater heights when everyone works together with a sense of brotherhood and follows the Constitution.”
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar marks Republic Day in Patna
Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar marked the occasion by unfurling the national flag at his residence in Patna. He shared festive moments with the public, distributing sweets and extending heartfelt greetings on social media.
MP Governor Mangubhai Patel unfurls national flag
Governor Mangubhai Patel of Madhya Pradesh raised the national flag during the state-level event at Lal Parade ground in Bhopal to commemorate the 75th Republic Day.
Speaking at the occasion the Governor said, “Today, the people of the state are feeling happy. The atmosphere is filled with patriotic enthusiasm on the arrival of the national festival. On this day India became a universal republic. In this Amrit Mahotsav of Republic Day, Lord Ram is seated in the grand temple in Ayodhya.”
JP Nadda unfurls national flag at BJP headquarters
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda hoisted the national flag on the 75th Republic Day at the party headquarters in the national capital on Friday.
In a post on X, Nadda posted, “Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on ’75th Republic Day’. Today, on this occasion, I salute all our freedom fighters, brave soldiers and constitution-makers who sacrificed everything for the sovereignty, integrity and unity of the nation.”
French President Emmanuel Macron is the chief guest at this years’ Republic Day celebrations.
