In a heartwarming gesture, the Pakistan players celebrated Christmas at the Melbourne Cricket Ground by visiting Australia nets and presenting the Aussie players and their families with gifts, as the two teams prepare for the Boxing Day Test beginning Tuesday.
The Pakistan players could be seen carrying gift baskets and candies for children in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Pakistan’s new skipper Shan Masood led the warm gesture along with his predecessor Babar Azam and the Pakistan coaching staff.

Masood and his counterpart Pat Cummins could be seen sharing the smiles and carrying goody baskets.
“That was just great. Just Merry Christmas gifts and lollipops for the kids. So that was great. We’ve got a good relationship with the Pakistan side. That tour a couple of years ago was really special as well. So really kind and thoughtful of their group to think of us,” captain Pat Cummins told ESPN Australia.

Pakistan lost the first Test by a mammoth 360 runs and have dropped Sarfarz Ahmed from the 12 they have named as the shortlist for the playing eleven, which they will decide just before the toss on Tuesday at the MCG.
Australia have named an unchanged playing eleven.
