Bigg Boss: OTT 2 Winner Elvish Yadav frequently makes the news for all the wrong reasons. A video of him punching a fellow content creator named Maxtern (aka Sagar Thakur) became popular on social media. An FIR was lodged against Elvish following the incident, and the YouTuber-turned-actor has now clarified in a video that he assaulted Maxtern for threatening his parents.Elvish stated in the video that the young content creator has been pursuing a slander campaign against him since August 2023 to expand his following. He claimed that Maxtern had threatened to burn him and his parents alive.

Gurugram Police sent a notice

Gurugram Police has sent a notice under 41A to Elvish Yadav. This notice has been sent to Elvish to inquire into the matter. Elvish has been called to the police station located in Sector 53 on March 12, where he will be interrogated in the case of assault on Sagar Thakur (Maxtern).
The video of Elvish scuffling with Sagar Thakur had gone viral on the internet, after which an FIR was registered against him under sections 147, 149, 323, and 506 of IPC in Sector 53 police station of Gurugram. Now the police have sent a notice to Elvish for further investigation in this matter.

Maxtern made serious allegations

Maxtern has filed an FIR against Elvish Yadav for assaulting him. Maxtern also says that Elvish has threatened to kill him. Maxtern told the police that he had been invited by Elvish to meet him. But Elvish had brought with him 8-10 goons, who were under the influence of alcohol. Everyone beat him up and even threatened to kill him.
Maxtern also alleges that the YouTuber had tried to break his spine. Sagar demands that the police take action against Elvish as soon as possible.

Elvish also put his side across on social media

Elvish took to his Instagram handle sharing his side of the story in the whole Maxtern matter. He said, “A few videos have been going viral, you must have seen me beating Maxtern in it, on the basis that you all declared me a culprit and a crook. I want to clear everything up, I would like to tell the Indian audience that you’ll are very emotional, you’ll declare a judgment listening to one side of the story and pick a side. But I have the right to tell my story too…”
He further revealed that he wanted to meet the YouTuber, however, Maxtern kept poking for 8 months, “I told him to meet me around midnight once I landed in Delhi, I had sent him the location of my home on WhatsApp. I told him guests are treated like gods at our home and I would never beat him in my home. I told him not to be scared. But Maxtern made some statements about my family and threatened to burn me and my parents alive. I abused him over this and told him I would come and meet him wherever he was.”
Elvish later claimed that Maxtern staged the entire encounter by placing hidden cameras in the clothes shop where they met and that the incident was planned only for publicity purposes. He even apologized in the video for his behaviour.

Elvish had already made headlines for possessing illegal Cobra venom. In January, he made headlines after slapping a man in a restaurant.
