The event is set to witness the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Star cricketers such as MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Mithali Raj, Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin have also been invited to attend the historic ceremony.
The temple, adorned with intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses, features a main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor with the idol of Shri Ramlalla, showcasing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
The temple’s architecture includes five Mandaps (Halls) – Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap.
The main entrance, situated on the eastern side, is approached by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The foundation of the temple is constructed with a 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), mimicking artificial rock without any use of iron. A 21-foot-high plinth made of granite protects against ground moisture.
The temple complex also houses the historic Sita Koop well, dating back to ancient times, and the restored ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv at Kuber Tila, along with a statue of Jatayu.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, steeped in Shastriya protocols, will take place in the Abhijeet Muhurta in the afternoon and is expected to be attended by representatives from various spiritual and religious sects, as well as people from diverse backgrounds, including tribal communities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the gathering during this momentous occasion, emphasizing the significance of the event that marks the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla.
